Bloggers Reflect on ISTE 2010
One month ago today I was at the Colorado Convention Center eagerly anticipating the official start of ISTE 2010. Now that the cool breezes of June have given way to the heat and humidity of late July, I find myself reminiscing about the experiences at the premier education technology conference.
Thank you to all the talented and dedicated bloggers that shared their thoughts and ideas related to this years conference. We’re listening and your comments help us in the planning process as we work to make ISTE 2011 an outstanding professional experience.

STEM & ARTS (TEAMS) – ISTE 2010 Closing Keynote — Edutopia – Part 1 – Spurring US Innovation Through Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) Integration ——– In 2010, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference featured a “crowd source” keynote selection. People v…oted over the web and the most popular nominee was given the closing keynote of one of the largest educational computing conferences in the world. On July 1, Hawaii’s Jeff Piontek declared: “It’s no longer STEM. It’s STEAM.” His presentation slides had white typeface for the words science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and bold red typeface for the word arts. The educator drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd of thousands. http://www.edutopia.org/blogs/connecting-stem-arts-jim-brazell
