Digital Storytelling Brings Education to Life
My sixteen-month-old son is obsessed with the perennial children’s favorite, Corduroy by Don Freeman. I must have read that book at least 50 times in the last month. It’s the first thing he checks out in the morning and the last book we read at night. I wish all my students were as easily entertained and as enchanted by a well-told, simple story as my little bookworm.
I poked my head in on several ISTE 2010 sessions that addressed tactics and methods of digital storytelling. ISTE members are bringing stories to live in amazingly creative ways. These videos, take at the June conference, allow individuals who are leading the charge to bring digital storytelling into education explain the process in their own words.
