Opportunities for Virtual Interaction at ISTE 2010
I looked at my ISTE 2010 conference planner this morning to review the top events and sessions I hope to hit at the conference this year. As usual, I am completely over scheduled. There are so many amazing things I want to see and do, workshops I want to take, discussions I want to take part in, and people I want to meet. There is just no physical way I’m going to be able to do it all.
So, I’m depending on other ISTE attendees to blog, tweet, film and otherwise capture those amazing ISTE moments. The list of bloggers who plan to cover the conference grows longer everyday and the official Twitter hash tag, #ISTE10, has been building steam as we get closer and closer to the official conference kick-off.
Bookmark http://www.isteconnects.org and we’ll keep you in the loop on the latest news, events, and commentary from the conference hall floor. Please stop by the Social Butterfly Lounge to say hello and learn how you can contribute to the site. Your pictures, videos, ideas and projects are all welcome. I’ll do my best to cover the conference, but with hundreds of workshops and presentations, a lively exhibit hall, and plenty of after hours shenanigans, I need your help to capture and share the flavor of ISTE 2010.

Thanks for the helpful tips. This will be my second year at ISTE. One thing I learned is that you DO need to plan ahead in order to make sure your time is spent in a valuable manner.
But, that said, it’s important to give yourself a chance to explore, spontaneously, all of the amazing opportunities. I can’t wait!
