Share Your Tips on How to be a Green Educator
In case you missed it, Wes Fryer published a post the other day called Handouts at Educators PD Workshops, in which he asked all of us the question, “Should workshop leaders provide printed handouts during professional development sessions?” It was pleasing to see that so many of you were passionate about this question and the topic of “being green” in general. Many of the comments left on his post offered insightful tips on how to be considerate of the environment while conducting professional development workshops. I thought we should take this a step further and collect insights and tips on how to be “Green Educators.”
Please leave any thoughts, insights, or tips that can help us all be Green Educators in the classroom, at professional development workshops, or anywhere else the role of an educator might take you.
