Civil War Sallie just spent a week in my classroom and sparked an interest in the Civil War with my students that will continue long after she has moved to her next school. I want to thank Sarah and her dad for giving my students the opportunity to make a great friend in Civil War Sallie!

What a fantastic way to share quality time! It is also great to see that Sarah is using her knowledge of technology to assist her teachers. Teachers have volumes to learn from their students! Bravo!

This project rocks. I wish I would have thought of it! Glad to see something to have parent/child bonding time that combines your interests!

I was very fortunate to see this dynamic duo present at TRETC in Pittsburgh in the Fall, as well as at Pete&C this past February. They are a great team... and I highly recommend visiting their session if you happen to attend NECC 2009. Of course Dr. Beeghley is great... but Sarah is truly wonderful and an inspiration to all students. She models true passion for what she does, and the fact that she is willing to share that passion at such a young age speaks volumes for the leader that she is, and will continue to become. :)
